I think if I was ever going to become the sort of person who mounted boxed video games to a wall as some kind of "this is me" statement it'd be these three Atari 400/800 games...

I could see swapping Bounty Bob out because the box isn't quite as iconic as the Miner 2049er box and, ya know, two games from the same series. Not sure what I'd swap in there. Maybe Lode Runner?

There's a lot of rough stuff going on in Sonic Frontiers but I also can't help but be a little drawn to it. It feels very off and also feels like something out of time, like Hidden Palace unearthed an early beta of this late-model Dreamcast game, back when Sega was caught between the blue sky aesthetic of its arcade days and the dark/edgy vibe it seemed to think a post-Fred-Durst America needed in its games. This is me playing it for like three hours and being in disbelief about it. I think large parts of it are kinda bad! But... there's something here.

Mostly just curious to see if the simplecast player embeds well here, but hey, here's this podcast I do every single Tuesday! It is about...

"Happy Sonic Tuesday to all who celebrate. Let’s talk about Sonic Frontiers, God of War: Ragnarok, the state of Halo Infinite, AEW Fight Forever (not) coming to Game Pass on Day 1, Arcade Paradise’s new cabinets, the process of dumping Neo Geo Pocket Color carts, the snow festival, and yes, the wild price of the PlayStation VR2."
